01Agreement to these terms

Welcome to the EduPrep Academy website (the "Site"). The Site is operated by EduPrep Academy, LLC, a microschool located in Montgomery, Alabama (referred to here as "EduPrep," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Site.

These Terms of Use should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use the information you share with us.

02Who this site is for

The Site is intended for use by parents, guardians, families, and other adults who are interested in learning about EduPrep Academy. While we welcome students to view the content, the Site is designed to provide information to adults making decisions about their kid's education.

If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any personal information through the Site without the involvement of a parent or guardian.

03What this site is — and is not

The EduPrep Academy website exists to provide information about our school, our educational philosophy, our programs, and how families can learn more or begin the enrollment conversation.

The Site is informational only. It is not:

• A binding offer of enrollment, admission, or financial aid
• A guarantee of any specific educational outcome
• Legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice
• A substitute for a direct conversation with our founder or admissions team

Information on the Site may change over time as our programs evolve. We make reasonable efforts to keep the content accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that every page is up to date at all times.

04Our content and your use of it

All content on the Site — including written essays, photographs, illustrations, design, logos, the EduPrep wordmark, the color palette, journal articles, and the underlying code — is the property of EduPrep Academy or its licensors. This content is protected by United States copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may:

• View, read, and share the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Quote brief excerpts of our journal essays with proper attribution and a link back
• Reference the Site in legitimate educational or journalistic contexts

You may not, without our written permission:

• Reproduce, republish, or distribute substantial portions of our content
• Use our content for commercial purposes
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from our content
• Use our name, logo, or trademarks in a way that suggests affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship
• Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Site through automated means

05Your responsibilities

When you use the Site, you agree to do so lawfully and respectfully. You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Submit false, misleading, or impersonating information through any form on the Site
• Attempt to access areas of the Site or systems not intended for public use
• Introduce viruses, malware, or any other code designed to harm the Site or its visitors
• Disrupt the Site's normal operation, or attempt to overload our servers
• Use the Site in any manner that violates the rights of EduPrep, our staff, our families, or any third party

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate access, or take any other appropriate action against anyone who violates these terms.

06Inquiry submissions

The Site includes contact and inquiry forms (powered by Tally) designed for families and other interested parties to begin a conversation with us.

When you submit information through one of these forms:

• You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to provide it
• You understand that submitting an inquiry does not guarantee enrollment, admission, scholarship eligibility, or any other outcome
• You agree that we may contact you using the contact information you provide, in connection with your inquiry
• You acknowledge that your submission will be handled according to our Privacy Policy

We aim to respond personally to every legitimate inquiry within 24 hours, but we cannot guarantee a specific response time.

07Third-party links and embeds

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, embedded forms (such as Tally), scheduling tools (such as Calendly), payment processors (such as Stripe), social media platforms, or other external resources. These third-party services are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their content, practices, or terms.

When you click an external link or interact with an embedded third-party tool, you do so at your own risk and subject to that third party's own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies before sharing information with any third-party service.

08Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, EduPrep makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site, including but not limited to:

• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content
• The Site's uninterrupted or error-free operation
• The Site being free from viruses or other harmful components
• Any specific results from using the information provided

The Site is not a substitute for personalized educational, legal, financial, or professional advice. Decisions about your kid's education are significant, and we strongly encourage families to combine information from this Site with direct conversations, school visits, and any other resources appropriate to your situation.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EduPrep Academy, LLC, its founder, staff, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from or related to your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event will our total aggregate liability to you, for any claims arising out of or related to your use of the Site, exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EduPrep Academy, LLC, its founder, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Site
• Your violation of these Terms of Use
• Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party
• Any content or information you submit through the Site

11Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected in this document, and continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. If you do not agree with a future version of these terms, please discontinue use of the Site.

12Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. You agree that any legal action arising out of or related to these terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Alabama, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
